We're super excited to welcome another range of indie sewing patterns into the store. Hailing from Canada, Victory Patterns are a range of gorgeous and unique womenswear designs, blending vintage and modern aesthetics.
Victory are known for creating patterns with unusual details and fun styles. The Anouk dress and top features a decorative placket, fitted yoke, and pintucks. Lots of opportunities to play around with mixing fabrics, textures or colours!
Go a little bit vintage inspired with the Hazel dress and it's neck sash that ties into a bow. With it's slip-on style and seamlines perfect for colourblocking, Hazel is gorgeous mix of vintage and modern.
Looking for something perfect for winter sewing? You could try the Madeline skirt, with it's oversized curved pockets and optional button-on suspenders. Make Madeleine up in a denim, velveteen or corduroy and pair it with a turtleneck (such as the Paola by Named) and knee-high boots.
A warm and cozy option is the Lola dress. A spin-off of the classic crew neck sweater, Lola is designed for knit fabrics, and features pincess and curved seam lines to keep the style unique and fun, while also being cozy and easy to wear.
We've got all nine Victory patterns that are currently in print in the store at Sew Indie NZ right now. Why not go have a look, and see if one is inspiring you? (I have the Chloe dress in my sewing queue right now. Love those princess seams and pockets!)
